Ground Glass was filmed and produced by Australian James Thompson, whose idea it was to shoot a clip with Austyn Gillette on 16mm film. 16mm is an old, non-digital film method that gives the image a unique, great look. However, you work with old equipment and the film costs around 50 euros per minute filmed. Producing a skateboard video using this method is therefore quite an expensive affair.
