The American shoe manufacturer New Balance launched its own skate shoe line in 2013. The models set new standards in terms of quality, style and progression. NB succeeded in a very short time to conquer the skate shoe market, not least because of the excellent team, which is a combination of the most diverse characters and styles.
The products differ significantly in design and functionality. In-house technologies such as the C-Cap midsoles, the N2 cushioning technology or N-durance outsoles are developed specifically for the needs of skateboarders. In addition to the 306 Jamie Foy Pro Model - a classic Vulc shoe with a simple design - there is also the extremely popular 1010 by Tiago Lemos, one of the most innovative models of recent years. At NB, classic athletic shoes are often reinterpreted and adapted to the preferences of the pros. The classic N on each shoe provides an extra dose of style. In addition to the models already mentioned, there is also the 508 Westgate Pro model, as well as colorways by Franky Villani or Tyler Surrey.
The New Balance team is particularly versatile. In addition to legends like Brandon Westgate and PJ Ladd, young pros like Franky Villani and Tiago Lemos are signed with NB. Accordingly, the numerous video productions of the brand are very diverse.
