Vans just released the low top version of Lizzie Armanto's Pro shoe and we tested it for you.

Vans Lizzie Low Skateboard Shoe On Foot Style Shot

What immediately catches your eye: the Lizzie is a bit narrower and cut smaller than the other Vans skate models. Here we recommend choosing half a size larger.

The cup sole has been completely redesigned and, thanks to the patented "Sick Grip" rubber compound, has an extremely good grip, both on the ground and on the board. The underside of the sole deviates from the classic "Vans Waffle Sole" and is also equipped with flex zones, which means that the shoe can be used immediately and does not have to be worn in first.

Due to the slightly thinner "Eco Cush" insole, you stand a little lower, which guarantees top board feel without sacrificing much cushioning.

The front area of the Lizzie Low comes without seams, so you don't have to worry about torn side panels. In addition, the shoe is reinforced at the most stressed areas, especially in the ollie area, with 3D-shaped rubber pads, which increases the service life enormously.

The Lizzie also sets new standards in terms of sustainability. At least 30% of this skate shoe is made from recycled or renewable materials. The insole consists of more than 70% biological foam. The outsole is made from 60% natural rubber derived from trees. The leather is also sourced exclusively from certified tanneries.

Our conclusion: The Lizzie Low is a real evolution from Vans, ideal for all areas of use, regardless of whether you are more on the road, in the park, or on vert ramps and bowls. In our test, it has proven to be extremely durable and withstands countless ollies perfectly. A true unisex skateboard shoe. Only for people with wide feet is it less suitable due to its narrower shape.
