Making of: Lakai Fully Flared Intro
Lakai's fully flared video, which was released exactly 15 years ago, not only set new standards in terms of skateboarding, the intro was filmed with a real Hollywood crew. Responsible for this was none other than Spike Jonze, celebrated Hollywood director and longtime friend of the Crailtap crew around Rick Howard and Mike Carroll. An abandoned area on the outskirts of Los Angeles was rented for the intro and the entire Lakai team was chased over obstacles with special effects:
