Slappy Trucks
Slappy skateboard trucks are the result of years of testing by founder Mike Sinclair. Mike is, among other things, team manager for Nike SB and Tum Yeto, the distribution company for the Toy Machine, Foundation and Pig Wheels brands.
After countless versions of different designs, geometries and bushings, Mike was convinced that he had designed the perfect axle and Slappy Trucks were born. In addition to a super stable truck, Sinclair paid particular attention to setting the kingpin as low as possible. This makes many grinds such as Smith or Feeble Grinds easier because the Kingpin is often in the way.
In addition to the standard ST1 axle, Slappy Trucks are also available in a hollow version. A hollow kingpin and axle pin are used here, which saves around 5% weight. Both variants are also optionally available with inverted kingpins. In this variant, the kingpin is inserted into the axle upside down, causing the nut to disappear into the baseplate. This gives the axle at the top of the hanger even more room for grinding since the kingpin is not in the way.
