Thunder Trucks

Thunder Trucks is one of the longest established truck brands and has been producing high quality skateboard trucks since 1986, which are appreciated by skateboarders all over the world for their unique performance. After the departure of NHS Distribution, Thunder found a new home with Deluxe Distribution in San Francisco, which today is also home to brands like Krooked, Spitfire, Anti Hero or Real. At Thunder, innovation is always a top priority and the products are continuously developed and improved.

Thunder's truck geometry ensures smooth, controlled steering response with no surprises. Thunder trucks are characterized not only by the unique riding experience, but also by a simple, classic design. The reduction to the bare essentials is not only responsible for the sleek design, but also makes the trucks lighter and more maneuverable. Thunder trucks come in a wide variety of sizes and styles. Thunder Team Standard

The classic among all Thunder models, often called Polished Standard. A slightly thicker / higher baseplate makes the trucks particularly robust and is an unbeatable match in combination with the standard Thunder hanger. The Standard version is also available in size 143 for deck widths from 6.875 to 7.375 inches, so that even the next generation can benefit from excellent steering performance.

Thunder Lights

Unlike the Thunder Team Standard trucks, the Thunder Lights have a forged baseplate and a hollow kingpin. The special baseplate is slightly lower, which can have a slight effect on the slide behavior.

Thunder Hollow Lights

Just as the Thunder Lights, the Thunder Hollow Lights have a forged baseplate and a hollow kingpin. In addition, the Thunder Hollow Lights have a hollow axle pin, which saves a few additional grams of weight.

Thunder Team Hollows

If you love the classic Thunder baseplate but still prefer a lighter setup, the Thunder Team Hollows are definitely the best choice. The thicker Team baseplate with hollow axle pin and hollow kingpin make this an ideal combination.

Besides skateboard trucks Thunder also produces some other hardgoods like bushings and bolts. All bushings included in Thunder trucks have a medium hardness. If you prefer softer or harder bushings, Thunder offers a wide range of alternatives. For die-hard Thunder fans there are obviously hoodies, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, caps and beanies all carrying the stylish Thunder Trucks logo.
