Description
The AF1 is the most advanced skateboard truck from ACE Trucks.
The inverted kingpin gives you more space when grinding and the kingpin nut is no longer in the way and does not get worn down when doing tricks like Smith or Feeble Grinds.
The newly developed aluminum casting process makes it possible to combine smaller molecules, making the axle structure up to 70% stronger.
The baseplate has been redesigned to make it even more durable.
Hand-cast bushings with 94A hardness on top and 86A on the bottom.
96A pivot cups.
Hollowed-out baseplate for more stability and weight savings.
Patented axle nuts that simultaneously re-thread the axles, so you'll never have to worry about worn-out axles again. Includes a bonus red thread cutter so you can help your friends if their axle pins are worn down.
The axle geometry of Ace Trucks is modeled after an earlier version of the Independent truck, as many people considered it perfect at the time. Indeed, Ace skateboard trucks are characterized by their excellent steering characteristics.
Axle pin length 8.25 inches, recommended for decks from 8.125 - 8.375 inches.
Made from AA 356.2 aluminum with T6 heat treated SAE 4140 steel axle pin.
This truck comes with a magnetic hex adapter that fits any skate tool to adjust the steering of the trucks.
