GX1000 Skateboards is a San Francisco based skateboard company founded by skate filmer Ryan Garshell. The name came from the already existing GX1000 crew. The company owes part of its name to the crew's favorite camera: the Sony VX1000. The GX crew has made a name for itself as one of the toughest crews since long before the brand was formed. Their insane Hill Bomb clips from the hills of San Francisco are as insane as they are legendary.
