Heroin Skateboards was founded in Manchester in 1998 by Mark "FOS" Foster.
The name Heroin Skateboards is an ironic nod to the addictive nature of skateboarding as an activity. Fos is a teetotaler himself and rejects any form of drugs.
Heroin Skateboards is known for the unique graphics by Fos himself, as well as guest artists like French, Hirotton, and many more.
In addition to standard popsicle shaped decks, Heroin Skateboards offers a wide range of shaped decks, from old school shapes to the egg shapes that the brand is best known for.
With the Razor Edge Construction, the decks are sharpened on the top layer of wood, which means that you can build up a little more pressure with flip tricks and the board flips more easily.
All heroin decks are produced in Mexico by BBS/Generator and thus guarantee the highest quality.
The current team consists of Dead Dave, Craig "Questions" Scott, Lee Yankou, Tom Day, Chris Pulman, Aaron Wilson, Corey Leso, Chet Childress and Chopper.
In addition to Heroin Skateboards, Fos is also the founder of Snot Wheels .
